No wonder Hugh Jackman is so buffed, he's been carrying the entire franchise on his shoulders all this time. In a typical macho-action delivery, we get a glimpse of how Logan transforms into "AN ANIMAL" with even more typical tropes and a cluster of secondary characters with little-to-no depth. Set pieces are just what they are: set pieces of action and people throwing punches and Hugh Jackman being badass as fuck walking away of an explosion (yes, it is kinda badass but is it really once it's been SO overused????) Flat motivations, cringy dialogue, okay performances, and Ryan Reynolds discovering his dream role as Deadpool. That's about it. As i progress in the X-Men Universe chronology i keep saying to myself that this wasn't a very good idea.

Big fan of the X-men series. When I heard this was being made I was excited. I really got to learn more on his past because we only ever see him being his usual serious self in other movies. The introduction of new characters in his life story was also good.
