This film is the second in the Shrek franchise and I really think that it's just as good as the first. I enjoy these films so much because I think the humour in them is meant for both adults and kids and there are jokes throughout that are meant for the different age groups- it's very clever. Now that Shrek is married to Fiona, he must meet her royal parents in a town called 'Far Far Away'. He obviously doesn't see eye to eye with them, since he's an ogre so just simply doesn't enjoy doing to same things as them. The king is so disappointed in Fiona's choice of husband that he seeks out the help of the fairy godmother to put a spell on Fiona so that she falls in love with Prince Charming.

Shrek is great for kids and adults. Watching this as a kid I never realized the hidden jokes that were meant for adults! As a kid it was funny and as an adult who knows more know it’s even funnier! Loved how they made it comparable to real life marriages where one never gets along with the in laws!

Although the movie and characters are often joked about on the internet, there is a reason why so many shrek movies were made. The characters and story is lovable and enjoyable for the whole family to watch. The sequel is just as good as the first movie if not better!
