Along Came Polly

A hilarious classic about a man unwilling to take risks but meets someone who may be the love of his life and she is completely the opposite. She’s spontaneous, she’s dirty, she lives without fear. Ben Stiller as the lead is forced to confront his biggest fear which is a life that no longer lives in this pre-planned routine. So many great scenes in this one; Ben Stiller sweating profusely at his first date an Indian restaurant because he is allergic, Ben Stiller’s character getting a face full of sweaty chest hair playing against some locals in basketball, and lastly of course, Philip Seymour Hoffman’s character filling in for the lead in his important work meeting and improvising the entire thing.
