20년이 지난 후에 보아도 촌스럽거나 어설프지 않아보일 영화가 몇이나 될까. 당시 대세였던 디즈니 애니메이션의 틀 안에서 과감히 결을(작화부터) 차별화하는데 성공한 명작. 벽화, 떨기나무, 홍해 씬은 아직도 소름.

One of my childhood favorites. Makes bible stories so much more entertaining than an old priest telling it to you or hearing it in Sunday school. You can get a clearer loom on the morals and lessons of these bible stories through the rendition of the characters
