This is a super controversial TV show that really has people divided on whether it's a good thing or a bad thing. I wouldn't recommend this show if you yourself are in a bad place mentally, since I think it could be quite destabilising, but for those of us who thankfully aren't, I think that it's really important to watch. The issue of suicide is one that has such a stigma attached to it that no one really talks about it, which in my opinion, is really detrimental to those people suffering from depression because they can't get help easily or speak to their family and friends about it. The series follows the story of a girl called Hannah Baker, who was bullied at school for being a supposed 'slut' and then a series of events happened which led her to commit suicide. She then makes tapes, to try and explain why she came to the conclusion that suicide was her only option. It is such an emotional TV show that does have some gruesome parts, but I think it's really important to open up a dialogue about these kinds of issues.

This Television Show takes on a controversial topic, suicide; I found that it tried too hard to make a point not to bully others that it became too unrealistic. I found the fact that the main character blah spends the whole time trying to get the ones who have wronged the girl who committed suit=code in trouble, it forgets to talk more about mental illness that caused her to consider suicide in the first place and how she could've gotten help.

Ever since watching the first episode, I was hooked. I was interested in the reasons why Hannah Baker killed herself. It was also interesting that each of Hannah’s killers found out that Hannah knew more about them than they thought. This makes for a interesting, haunting, and dramatic TV series.

This show got soo hyped over the past year and I'm really not sure why. It has alot of trigger incidents so not a show for everyone. Its extremely realistic but I found the acting poor. The show is a little slow, as they expand a series of tapes Hannah, a girl who committed suicide makes. Each of the tapes explains a different reason that Hannah took her own life and is watched by her crush, Clay. It is a very relatable highschool movie but I didn't think it was worth the hype.
