드라마 자체는 서바이벌 배틀로얄을 (이걸 장르라고 해야할지 클리셰라고 해야할지) 한국적 해석으로서 훌륭하다고 생각했다. 자본주의 나빠요- 라는 메세지는 당연히 동의하는 바 이지만 봉준호의 기생충같은 심도는 기대하지 말자. 서구권 배우들이 '아무도 이렇게 말하지 않아요' 라고 항의하는걸 씹는 감독을 건방지다고 해야할지 쿨하다고 해야할지. 영어 대사가 나올때마다 귀를 뜯어내고싶었다. 이부분은 가디언지까지 올라간 국가망신.

overhyped but i understand korean culture is being so widespread and i love it it was interesting to learn some old traditional korean games tho lmao still don’t know how to play the actual “squid game” but it was also a new concept
