Based on the books by Kass Morgan, this show takes place 100 years in the future, when the Earth has been abandoned due to radioactivity. The last surviving humans live on an ark orbiting the planet — but the ark won't last forever. So the repressive regime picks 100 expendable juvenile delinquents to send down to Earth to see if the planet is still habitable.

This show is just mind blowing. It gives something fresh to the worn out dystopian genre. The first season and beginning of the second season drag a bit (though not too much that they become unwatchable). However, once the show picks up it really picks up. And all the characters go through so much growth and show so much diversity. This show is an easy obsession.

My friend recommended this show to me a long time ago and I still have yet to watch it. When he was explaining the plot to me, it sounded really interested and the type of show I would like watching. I hope I get around to watching this show soon and that it doesn't disappoint.

I kept watching this show purely because I was interested in the concept, but not super impressed with the actually story. The second season really picks up pace and I by then I was invested in the characters and I'm glad I stuck with it.
