Parks and Recreation

It lost a star because it’s the last season. How dare it end. I was 15 when this show ended and I remember skipping school the next day because I was so devastated. Parks and Recreation trumps any show in existence, you can’t convince me otherwise.

Against popular opinion, I find this show super boring and mundane. I know the comedy is supposed to be a stark contrast to the government job, but I just find the setting too boring to overlook. Also, the humor is not my style- it is just mosly dumb jokes and gags.

Even though it was first helmed as a copy of The Office, it began to really stand on its own in a unique way! Each of its characters are so well polished and evolved that the show operates like a car, all of its moving parts contributing to the final product. Also the show is responsible for Ron Swanson, one of the best TV characters of all time!

I can’t think of a better show to watch that will leave you in the best mood possible. The cast is hilarious with some of the best jokes ever told on television. Not only is it hilarious, but it is heartwarming with lovable characters. It’s a show you can watch a million times and never get bored. It’s a truly special show and there’s no doubt in my mind that you will cry when it’s over, just like I did. If you’re looking for a fun show to get you through life, this is the one to watch.
