Big Mouth Season 1

Good.... its good

This is a hilarious story about puberty. It is gritty, it is gross, it is WAY too real, and that's why it is one of the most amazing things on Netflix. It takes some guts for the writers of the show to go where they do, but it works out so well. I honestly thought I would hate this show as I don't really like shows that are gross for no reason, but I binged watch this show in a day. Even if you don't think it is your cup of tea, give it a shot. It might surprise you.

I still don't know how to watch it

This is such a hilarious animated comedy all about coming of age, and puberty. The series is extremely explicit if you enjoy that kind of humour and it discusses issues that I think are really important that people are often too embarrassed to talk about. Each episode discusses a new subject based on puberty, and the boys have their hormones personified in a strange looking creature that suddenly appears out of nowhere when they're faced with certain situations. For the girls it's the same thing, which I really enjoyed watching because topics related to females expressing themselves sexually isn't one that is mainstream. Every single episode is relatable and definitely should be on your watchlist.

My only complaint is that there aren’t enough episodes!! This show explores the awkward stages of puberty in a hilarious, adult-oriented way. This is a fun show to watch with a significant other, since it brings up a lot of uncomfortable topics in a humorous way.
