Sharp Objects

Sharp Objects is a show I started but never got around to finishing! I found myself getting lost episode to episode and forgetting where I left off due to the non-traditional narrative approach. Amy Adams acts in this show extremely well and does a great job of playing almost this Lisbeth Salander type of character - a hardened independent woman affected by a past childhood trauma that forced her to close herself off from the world. The writer of the show, Gilian Flynn, knows really well how to write female characters. Worth watching for this.

Although I have never watched this movie, after reading the overview I feel like this would be a very good movie because it really attracts the viewer with its unique plot. I feel like it’s a slow starter, but after watching through the first few episodes it gets better.
