The gripping, decades-spanning inside story of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the Prime Ministers who shaped Britain's post-war destiny. The Crown tells the inside story of two of the most famous addresses in the world – Buckingham Palace and 10 Downing Street – and the intrigues, love lives and machinations behind the great events that shaped the second half of the 20th century. I have only watched a few episodes of this series and I have to say that it’s a slow starter, but after watching through the first few episodes it gets better. At first when I first started the series, it was confusing and long and boring, however after pushing through a little bit you’ll start to understand it.

The Crown is a Netflix Original series and I surprised myself by being hooked and enjoying this series. The TV show is based on the play, written by Peter Morgan, "The Audience" which follows the life of Queen Elizabeth II. Romance, intrigue, drama and political ideology blend beautiful in this masterpiece of British contemporary history.

As a fan of shows about royalty, I found this one pretty entertaining.unlike all the historical fiction shows on different royal families that have come out, this one does a great job as a non-fiction. Reality is generally less exciting than the dramas we tune in to watch, but with great cast members this show is able to draw in the audience in a way that makes you forget it's non-fiction.
