The Handmaid's Tale

Good drama

I am obsessed with this TV show. I think it's such a clever adaptation of the book, that really presents some interesting ideas of what a dystopian reality is, or even a possible future? This is a fantastic follow on from season 1, which I think you really have to watch before season 2 to understand what's going on. The main storyline follows a 'handmaid' who's main role in society is to bear children for party officials. We assume that there was some kind of virus released that means only certian women can have children. These women were then enslaved and torn apart from their own families and are basically sex slaves to their 'masters'. However, this particular handmaid proves to be a little bit more tricky to control. The acting is absolutely sensational as well.
