初恋が何回もあっては困るのだが。 医療訴訟を抱え、同じように医者をしている息子から愛想を尽かされたリチャード･ギアと、離婚が成立している元夫から復縁を迫られているダイアン･レイン、この二人が嵐の晩に恋に落ちる。 このタイプの映画は役者に美男美女を揃え、観客に「このカップルならさもありなん」と思わせなければならない。 二人は以前にも共演しており、異論はないが、二人の置かれた現状をもう少し丁寧に描いてくれれば、と思う。 ダイアン･レインはいつまでも可愛い。
