Gangubai Kathiawadi

Young Ganga is sold to a brothel in Mumbai in the 1950s. She goes on to become the feared Gangubai - the Matriarch of Kamathipura - champion of female emancipation and advocate of rights for sex workers in a chauvinist and narrow-minded society.
