The First Girl I Love

The co-directorial debut of advertising director Ng Wing-shan and actor Yeung Chiu-hoi tells an affecting tale of female friendship and unlikely first loves. Nam and Yuet have been best friends since their school days. On the night before Yuet’s wedding, Nam recalls their time together in school, when they shared a relationship that was more than friendship, but also perhaps not quite love. This lovingly nostalgic and bittersweet film offers a unique feminine twist on the well-worn youth romance formula.
