Lee Chang-dong: the art of irony

A portrait of the Korean representative cinéast through his work—films and writings. “Dramatic irony” is a time travel to approach director Lee focusing on his nature and truth. Inspired by <Peppermint Candy>, the film travels back in time to his artistic origin, from the present, then on time as a writer, up to his childhood. It also tells the stories of the actors in his films and co-writer Oh Jung-mi about their collaborations.
