シンバの娘のキアラと、スカーの跡継ぎコブの物語。シンバが王となって立派に国をおさめているけど、それを邪魔しようとする、追放されたスカー軍団。コブがシンバを倒そうとするが、コブとキアラは恋に落ちて・・・というストーリー。 思ったよりも内容は薄かった印象。 シンバ、ナラ、ティモン、プンバ、出てくるけど期待するほどではない。 歌も絵のタッチも前作の方が全然良い。 予想通りの展開で盛り上がりにかけるし、サバンナを生きる動物たちに迫力がない。 まぁ、続編ってこんなものだよね、と思った次第です。これは別に見なくてもよいかな〜。
