芸術家でもあり、科学者でもあった天才、レオナルド・ダ・ヴィンチの20代の話。 フィレンツェのメディチ家の世話になるため、武器の開発に余念がなかったが、フィレンツェを手に入れたいバチカンのローマ教皇一派との暗闘に巻き込まれる。 メディチ家の当主、ロレンツォの愛人ルクレツィアと関係を結ぶことで、深みにはまっていく。 この時代のコスチュームプレイ（時代劇）はとても面白く、うろ覚えの世界史を刺激してくれる・・・美女の裸も。
