Who would have thought that Satan playing good cop would create on-screen brilliance? The television series "Lucifer" is hilariously and brilliantly ludicrous! An evil villain takes a turn at the type of role typically given to superheroes or the "good guy." The American drama gives a nod to the X Files at choosing a duo, completely different from one another to solve crimes together. The casting of Tom Ellis and Lauren German was very inventive and clever. "Lucifer" and the TV show's silliness and breaking from conventions tied to well-known characters that reaches beyond pop culture is what makes this show so rich and full-bodied.
