Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan
Avg 3.5
This is genuinely the funniest film I've ever seen, but if you're easily offended or don't appreciate very dry and sarcastic humour, don't bother giving it a watch. It follows the story of a 'documentary maker' from Kazakhstan and the differences he learns between his home country and America. However, Sacha Baron Cohen, who pretends to be Borat gets real reactions from people who aren't actors, which then obviously leads to very funny and real reactions from the American public. For example, he's staying at someone's house and pretends to not know how to use the toilet, so poop's in his hands and attempts to give it to the homeowner- what would you even do in that situation?! I think she handles herself much better than I would!
