I just started watching this show and I have to say it fails to be on par with "Parks and Recreation" and "The Office". I enjoy that it doesn't have too much serious drama; it's just a light hearted comedy. The actors do a good job with their characters, but their characters are not very original. You have the emotionless captain, goof off detective, the woman who takes her job more serious, etc...
