The American television series F.R.I.E.N.D.S. was the perfect combination of comedy and drama. Series 1 The Pilot episode introduced the audience to the next iconic sextet since the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse; Monica, Ross, Rachel, Chandler, Phoebe and Joey. With the first episode involving storylines such as Ross' ex (now lesbian) wife and Rachel running away from her own wedding, made viewers dive headfirst into the drama and laugh at the ridiculousness of the plot. No one can help but be addicted to following the six friends around in their day to day lives with ... not so normal events occurring to them. P.S. Chandler Bing's consist cycle of sarcastic and cynical commentary is the most underappreciated element of the TV show.
