As You Like It
I guess it should be a given that it is almost impossible to emulate the script and writing of William Shakespeare in a movie production rather than an on-stage performance of one of the writer's best pieces, As You Like It. This adaptation of As You Like It, explored elements of Eastern culture infused into the scene and location of the movie which was interesting but felt unnecessary at points too. I may be bias as this is my favourite Shakespeare play with the inclusion of exploration of gender and sexuality which I actually thought was executed pretty averagely in the movie.
