I was very disappointed by the American take on the very British and very tongue-in-cheek comedy, "Shameless." I could not help but feel angered and genuinely despise each and every character. I feel like to choose to doll up this show with a large and talented cast from showbiz just defeated the premises of the plot of "Shameless." The fact that the highly praised British version always seemed lower budget was part of the show's charisma and why audiences loved it. I really have nothing good to say about America's take on the "comedy" show.
