Kids on the Silk Road - Bangladesh: Life Is a Beach

Javed(11) has dropped out of 2nd grade because his teacher was beating him. He has left home because his mum beats him if he does not make money for the family. Javed now lives on the beach and makes a living together with his friend Shahidul by giving people massage. Still searching a brighter future, he almost wins a surf contest, and with help from a friend he realizes that he needs to go back to school and surf in his spare time.
