It was interesting to see "The Adventures of TinTin" as an animated movie adaptation, however, I must admit... The movie definitely lost the spark of the orginal TinTin series and franchise that we all know and love. Also, the choice of animation style was very different and I am not entirely sure that I enjoyed it... HOWEVER, I will say that the contemporary movie adaptation was excellent in portraying the action-packed, fantastical adventures that we all associate with the world of The Adventures of TinTin. I feel like this is the type of movie, you will either receive well or be disappointed with if you are a huge fan of the franchise.

This film by Spielberg is surprising because it is very much unlike his style. This film has no political angle. It purely operates as an adventure that feels like an old folklore told for kids before they go to bed. A cute film with great animations that ISN’T PIXAR.
