I did not really like this Film. Already starting with the beginning I didn't really understand how the transition from our world to the other worked, the beginning seemed very constructed. Also I find it very sad that the story was very much "disneyfied". So when this gets into your head the movie is unfortunately pretty boring to watch with no twists at all and just a super linear story line.

I was so disappointed with this movie; Oz the Great and Powerful. I could not help but completely hate the character of Oz and whether this was the intention or not, it just made the movie so easy to hate when its main protagonist was a righteous man with almost meninist views so a big NO from me.

A good movie that has subtle hints of what’s right and what’s wrong for the people watching to learn and relate to their own life. Has a very wide range of characters that lets us relate their actions to our own life.

I am a big fan of the original movie, The Wizard of Oz. I am excited to see how the directors have twisted the old movie to create this new movie. I am hoping that the story line is full of adventure and I am also hoping to see more of the land of oz and how it differs from the original.

I'm a big fan of movie remakes, and this is no exception. Movies can now be faster, with better animations and special effects, which is put into extraordinary use in this remake of a classical film. It's really interesting to see how the film begins in black and white, with a con artist and then when he arrives in Oz the world suddenly turns into colour and the people take him to be a wizard, to come and save them. However, due to his newfound reputation, which he enjoys, he doesn't tell them any different. This leads to grave consequences, and sets the film up for the famous 'Wizard of Oz'
