Nearly 10 years have passed since Sarah Connor was targeted for termination by a cyborg from the future. Now her son, John, the future leader of the resistance, is the target for a newer, more deadly terminator. Once again, the resistance has managed to send a protector back to attempt to save John and his mother Sarah.

My favorite Terminator film. It is better than the first one in almost every respect. Having the previous film's villain come back as a hero is a very interesting concept, and the bonding between him and the Connors is very believable and fascinating to watch. The action scenes are great, and it has so many legendary quotes. Just all in all a great ride.

The opening hour and the last half hour is absolutely breathtaking with action sequences that still remain unsurpassed. Their's also a wonderful piece of storytelling 3/4 of the way through where Dyson relises the terrifying consequences of the project he's neglecting his family for.
