A direct classical tale of the caped crusader in the vision of Tim Burton.

The first, and possible best, Batman film it's the culmination of a great cast and director coming together to make a compelling and mature film out of subject matter geared towards children. The film is dark and foreboding, but unlike the more contemporary Batman films it never takes itself too seriously. The only downside is that some aspect of it haven't aged very well. Still, it's a classic super hero film.

왜 항상 배트맨 영화는 조커가 주인공인지... 그래도 내맘속에 배트맨은 이 팀버튼의 배트맨.

I actually thought that Tim Burton did a good job in creating his image of Gotham - the fantasy based world surround the legendary DC comic's superhero Batman. The plot and story was held up by such a strong and star-studded cast. A very enjoyable depiction of the superhero with the refreshing Burton twist.

My favorite Batman film, hands down. It has so much atmosphere and style that it is impossible not to love it. Micheal Keaton is a great Bruce Wayne, calm when he has to be, and aggressive when he has to. Also, Jack Nicholson does a fine job as the Joker. It is more cartoonish than the newer editions, but to be honest, that is part of why I love it.
