In the middle of the whole story of The Hobbit, this movie brings to our screens action, thrill and emotions. Amazing visual effects make of this production easy to enjoy; while getting us even more familiar with the universe that we first met with the Lord of the Rings. Hold onto your seats, and get ready to watch the whole saga.

"The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" was the movie that finally met the anticipation of Tolkien fans; THE FINAL APPEARANCE OF THE INFAMOUS SMAUG! The film itself was an action-packed adventure but I definitely felt that the turning point of the entire Hobbit series was revealed in the second movie of the series. To have an actor with such a seductively distinctive voice such as Benedict Cumberbatch to take on the role was such a daring and successful choice! I was definitely impressed watching Bilbo Baggins and the dwarf gang outsmart the terrifying, fire-breathing, ruthless dragon who wiped out nations! A brilliant watch for all the family!

This is my favourite of all the Hobbit movies because it is the one that is most accurate to the book and the one where the most things happen. The issue with the other two is that they are so long and boring, but this one for the most part is captivating. Sure there's a lot that doesn't need to happen, but at least it's entertaining. Definitely the best one hands down.
