Black Hawk Down

An iconic war movie that has aged well despite being almost 2 decades old now. It tells the story of a young group of soldiers as they struggle to survive after their helicopters are shot down in enemy territory during a mission. Very emotional and well written story that can be enjoyed by everyone.

I am convinced that this one is one of the best films for me

Black Hawk Down is first and foremost an immensely effective war film but beyond that, it's one of the most subtle, differently made war films ever. This movie gives us a very wide array of characters that we are able to understand and relate to. I highly recommend this movie to anyone.

A powerful accurate depiction of the tragic event that took place in Somalila. Many soldiers fought and were killed because of mistakes made by the U.S. Government; this film is hard to watch, but that's what makes it as powerful and touching as it is. I highly recommend to anyone.
