This action-packed thriller takes place on the soon-to-be-decommissioned USS Missouri. Disgruntled ex-CIA operative Strannix, his assistant Krill and their group of terrorists seize the battleship with nuclear blackmail in mind. They've planned for every contingency but ignore the ship's cook, former Navy SEAL Casey Ryback -- an error that could be fatal.

Under Siege was by far one of my least favourite action thrillers despite having received such high praise for such a strong and supposedly interesting hero as our major protagonist. Maybe I just don't know how to appreciate movies that depict the navy... Oops.

There are aspects that could stand better explanation within the plot, but it doesn't seem compromised, and it makes us jump, sweat and cheer in all the right places.

It starts off strong but loses wind as the movie drags on. The acting and actual plot of the movie are shaky but the action scenes make up for the other defecits to make this a decent movie- it's something I would half-watch while doing something else.
