Pretty Lethal

Ballet is deadly… apparently. And honestly, I was surprisingly here for it. As someone who loves dance and ballet and a Maddie Ziegler fan, I had to watch this, and I’m glad I did. It’s definitely odd, and I still don’t fully understand the logic behind the whole kidnapping and trying to kill the ballerinas plot… but somehow it works? The fight sequences using ballet moves were honestly so fun to watch, and Maddie is such a natural on screen. She brings real presence and emotion to her role, making the film more than just flashy choreography. Weird, a little bonkers, but totally entertaining, definitely not what I expected, but I had a great time watching it.
