영화 초반에 화려한 색감과 다양한 소품을 사용한 미장센과 스톱 모션 기법이 매력적이게 느껴졌다. 여주인공이 아프기 시작하고 인물들의 상황과 감정이 불안해지는 것을 점점 어두워지는 색감, 더러워지는 집 등으로 표현한 것이 인상적이였다. 여주인공이 죽으며 아예 흑백이 되는 연출에 감탄하며 봤다.
