Parenthood is a great mix between comedy and drama; it all makes this movie one of the most warm and subtle movies ever made. It doesn't try to be funny, it doesn't try to be melodramatic. You can watch this movie as a drama or as a comedy, so fans of both the genre will be pleased with this movie that surely does not disappoint in any way.

Although I have never watched this movie, after reading the overview I feel like this would be a very good movie because it involves a large and very diverse family. Everyone seems to have their own set of characters and it seems like an interesting blend.
