妊娠中のフォト・ジャーナリスト、サラ（アリソン・パラディ）は、その日、自らハンドルを握って車を運転していた。突然衝撃が彼女を襲い車は大破、サラはフロントガラスに頭をぶつけて意識を失う。助手席に乗っていた夫のマチューは即死であった。4ヶ月後のクリスマス・イブ。サラは一命を取りとめ、奇跡的にお腹の子供も無事で、すでに臨月を迎えていた。産婦人科で検診を終えたサラはひとりで帰宅。心配して電話をかけてきた両親や編集長のジャン・ピエールには強がって気丈に振る舞うが、サラは愛する夫を失った淋しさと悲しみを懸命に耐えていた。夜も更けた頃、家のドアを何者かがノックする。

Such a Horrorific intro to our film, it was Utterly Heartbreaking to see, even though there was a possible silver lining for our main character who happens to be a female. Looks like we have a problem developing now, and it doesn't look good for our main character at all. Someone vile has made an appearance in the film, quite threatening in her actions so far. And said character is back again, and in an even more terrifying manner this time around. Wow... Such Glorious Mayhem, and so Brutal and Shameless in its pure Wanton Violence.
