ハロウィンの夜、子どもたちが町外れの幽霊屋敷に忍び込み、一冊の本を見つける。その本には、噂に聞いた怖い話が綴られていた。そしてそれを持ち帰った次の日から子どもがひとりずつ消えていき、その“怖い本”には毎夜ひとりでに新たな物語が書き加えられていく……。

The books were by far better then the movie. I did love the actors though. Other than that, the movie wasn’t scary whatsoever. It is definitely aimed towards a younger audience, which may be the reason I’m not a huge fan of this one. It was a good story line, it just wasn’t scary.
