幻のポケットモンスター、ミュウの化石から、人間の手によって作られたミュウツー。コピーとして生まれた彼は、自らのアイデンティティーに苦悩し、やがて人間への復讐を企てるようになる。そんなある日、ポケモンマスターを目指し、修行の旅を続けるサトシ少年の元に一通の招待状が届いた。それはミュウツーの仕組んだ罠であったが、そうとは知らないサトシたちは大荒れの海を渡って会場へと向かう。同じ頃、サトシたちの後を追って会場に忍び込んだロケット団は、地下の部屋でポケモンのコピー製造機を発見していた。ミュウツーは、あらゆるポケモンをゲットし、オリジナルより優れたコピーを生産することによって地球支配を狙っていたのだ。

The movie is very entertaining for fans of the television and game series. There is a great deal of nostalgia for this movie from the younger generation due to the popularity of pokémon as a whole. If you are not a pokémon fan then you will most likely not enjoy watching this.

The Pokemon Movie is an iconic animation that is nostalgic for anyone that grew up during the 90s. The storyline, characters, and animation style are so distinct and prove that Pokemon is an unbeatable classic.

A classic in the Pokémon movies. I still have the VCR tape for it! Great movie to introduce the Pokémon series to those who have never watched it and also very sad at some parts. Pokémon was definitely a childhood favorite and this movie was fun to watch since the main character kept chasing his dreams.
