遠いどこかの森にある村で幸せに暮らす、小さな青い妖精スマーフたち。ところがある日、魔法使いガーガメル（ハンク・アザリア）に追いかけられ、クラムジー（声：アントン・イェルチン）やスマーフェット（声：ケイティ・ペリー）たちは突然開いた大きな穴からワープして、ニューヨークど真ん中に放り出されてしまう。そこで出会ったのは広告マンのパトリック（ニール・パトリック・ハリス）。宿敵ガーガメルに見つかる前に、村へ帰る方法を見つけ出さなければならないスマーフたち。ところが、スマーフ村のリーダーであるパパが捕まってしまった。果たして、スマーフたちはパパを助け出し、無事に村へ帰ることができるのか？

I have never been a fan of "The Smurfs" franchise so I always beat myself up for watching the contemporary movie adaptation. The movie itself just felt cringey and at times, almost unbearable to watch. I wish the cute little blue creatures had been kept in their own world instead of our own. The movie definitely did not live up to the popularity nor the name of one of the most iconic childhood classics for all generations.

Very cute lovable movie! I watched the smurfs all the time when I was younger and seeing this brought back memories! It was cool how they actually made the smurfs come into the modern world rather than staying in their small village in the woods! You get to experience the smurfs but more modernized!
