1945年4月、第二次世界大戦末期。ナチス支配下のドイツに侵攻を進める連合軍の中にウォーダディー(ブラッド・ピット)と呼ばれる軍曹がいた。長年の戦場での豊富な経験を持ち、戦車部隊のリーダー的存在の彼は、自身が“フューリー”と名付けたシャーマンM4A3E8戦車に戦友とともに乗っていた。ある日、ウォーダディーの戦車に新兵のノーマン(ローガン・ラーマン)が補充の副操縦手として配属される。だが彼はこれまで戦場を経験したことがなく、銃を撃つこともできない兵士であった。想像をはるかに超えた凄惨な戦場の現実に、激しく動揺するノーマンだったが、過酷な戦闘を繰り返すうち、戦車に同乗する4人にも徐々に受け入れられていく。前線の街道交差点の確保を命じられ、出撃したウォーダディー率いる戦車小隊の4両は、ドイツ軍のティーガー戦車の攻撃を受ける。死闘の末、かろうじてティーガーを撃破するが、ウォーダディー以外の3両は破壊されてしまった。それでも命令遂行のため、目的の交差点にたどり着いたウォーダディーの戦車だったが、地雷を踏んで動けなくなってしまう。しかしその時、交差点にはドイツ軍SS部隊300名が迫っていた。ウォーダディーは無謀にも壊れた1両の戦車“フューリー”で敵を迎え撃つというミッションを下すのだが……。

I absolutely love this movie. I believe it should have won all the awards. Another war film that delves into the people rather than the war itself. The characters are complex and interesting to watch. The cast is just incredible and they work so well together. Just a heads up though, don't watch this with your parents. It's pretty dark and full of gore. It can be hard to stomach for some people.

Although "Fury" depicts action-packed, romantic and unrealistic war battle scenes, I still enjoyed watching the movie (surprisingly).There is no denying the striking quality of the visuals, editing and cinematography. The movie may not become a cult classic but it sure embodied suspense and brilliance in authentic detail and complex logic, despite being a basic story.

A hard hitting war film that knows all of its characters so well. A film about performances that feels like all the actors and director really took the months of filming to dive headfirst and commit to the story. I really respected the angle the film takes it rounding out these characters even in war torn environments.
