元FBI特別捜査官のルーク・ホブス（ドウェイン・ジョンソン）は、ワイルドなスタイルで超重量級のクルマを操る追跡のプロ。だが、現在はロサンゼルスで娘と静かな暮らしを送っていた。一方、ロンドンで優雅な日々を送るデッカード・ショウ（ジェイソン・ステイサム）は、クールなスタイルで超高級車を駆る規格外の元MI6エージェント。そんな2人の元に、政府から協力要請が入る。消息を絶ったMI6の女性エージェント、ハッティを保護して欲しいというのだ。ハッティは全人類の半分を滅ぼす新型ウイルス兵器をテロ組織から奪還したものの、組織を率いるブリクストン（イドリス・エルバ）の襲撃を受け、ウイルスと共に姿を消したらしい。しかも、彼女はショウの妹でもあった。犬猿の仲ゆえ、一度は協力を拒否するホブスとショウ。だが、肉体改造を施された超人的な戦士ブリクストンの攻撃をかわして、最重要事項であるウイルスの回収を行うことができる人間は他にいない。やむなく、手を組む２人。果たして、ホブスとショウは任務を全うし、世界を救うことができるのか……？

Considering I’m not a fan of Fast & Furious, I was very surprised that I liked this movie. I walked in thinking I’d end up walking out like I did the last and only Fast & Furious movie I saw, but this one caught my attention and kept me on edge the whole time. The characters were fantastic, the action was perfect, the ending was amazing. I loved that I didn’t have to know what was going on in previous movies in order to understand this one.

While entertaining, it’s not a movie you’ll remember for a long time. There is some great acting and comedy chemistry in this film that certainly makes it enjoyable, but becomes a bit over the top towards the end and seems to lull on at the tail of the movie. Overall, a good movie for entertainment on a first watch but not much more.

2人の仲が良くなっていくのを見ていてとても楽しい。サモアの人達が頼もしすぎる、笑 スピンオフだからしょうがないけど、「ワイルドスピード」と言われたら少し物足りなく感じる。特に前半
