Probably the best coming of age film, of all time. It is Emma stone in one of her earliest roles, which has since led to her rise in fame, culminating in her winning an Oscar for lala land. Stone plays a teenager in high school who is relatively invisible to everyone there, but this all changes when a rumor about her losing her virginity suddenly throws her into the spotlight, which she actually enjoys at the beginning. Then her gay friend, Brandon, asks her to say that she slept with him so that he could pretend to be straight so that he would stop getting bullied. After this, her situation spirals out of control, and the slut-shaming ensues.
