A Hitchcock masterpiece. The main character is sought to keep a friends wife from trying to kill herself. His fear of heights is used against him when she attempts to jump of a bell tower and it is his job to stop her from doing so. Very suspenseful. They build a love that gives her a reason to live. James Stewart and Kim Novak make history in the film
