The playful and hilarious Jack Black strikes again! "School of Rock" was one of my favourite childhood movies because not only is it a comedy, but it is a comedy that makes you feel warm inside and happy. I love how "School of Rock" begins with a class of younger children, who quite literally hate their class and learning until the amazing Mr Dewey Finn changes their world with the spirit of rock 'n' roll! Jack Black's character, our main protagonist completely changes the classroom setting into a band, helping to showcase the talent of each and every child! There is something very sweet and empowering for children to gain their confidence through music and I think that is the hidden power of the rollercoaster of laughter AKA "School of Rock."
