The tonal shift in Beef Season 2 compared to Season 1 is more jarring than the Fast and the Furious franchise going from a story about racing cars to global espionage and space travel missions. If Beef Season 1 was a perfectly cooked steak, Season 2 was a failed attempt at reinventing a cow when all we wanted was another good steak.
