The worst part of this film is how it just completely disregards The Dark Knight, which is the best film in the series. The beginning of the film just throws aside everything that was accomplished in the second film, in order to rehash the plot of the first one. The story really is what drags, it is not interesting, it doesn't make sense, and since this iteration of Batman relies heavily on its story and themes, that's a pretty bad mistake.
