郵便配達人ジョゼフ・ルーラン（クリス・オダウド）の息子アルマン（ダグラス・ブース）は、パリ宛の一通の手紙を託される。それは父の友人で自殺した画家ゴッホ（ロベルト・グラチーク）が、彼の弟テオに書いたものだった。アルマンはテオの消息をたどり、彼の死を知るが、それと同時にある疑問が募る。ゴッホの死の本当の原因とは？ そして、この手紙を本当に受け取るべき人間はどこにいるのか？

What a unique masterpiece of a movie. Artwork and technique was wonderful. Story was great and so was the acting/voiceovers. Truly one of a kind.

이미 움직이고 있던 고흐의 그림을 새삼 움직이게 해줘서 새삼 고마웠던. 그 노력과 감성을 염두에두고 본다면 충분히 뿌듯한 영화.

The movie is made with images that resembles the work of Van Gogh, and I think just by that makes it a good homage to his life and work. Even when his life was told only for a relatively short part of the movie, the movie also shows the lives of people who remember Van Gogh. I think that was a good way for not being a cliche movie. The movie that has metaphor for Van Gogh over and over again, which make it memorable.
