マイリー・スチュアート（マイリー・サイラス）はごく普通の女子高生。しかし、彼女には全米で大人気のアイドル、ハンナ・モンタナというもう一つの顔があった。その二重生活の秘密を知っているのは、父ロビー・レイ（ビリー・レイ・サイラス）、マネージャーのヴィタ（ヴァネッサ・ウィリアムズ）、親友リリー（エミリー・オスメント）など、ごく一部の人たちだけだった。2つの生活をうまく使い分けてきたマイリーだったが、最近は人気のせいで少々傲慢になっていた。大学へ旅立つ兄の見送りを忘れたり、リリーの誕生パーティをすっぽかしたり…。その様子を心配したビリー・レイは、ハンナとしての活動を休み、生まれ故郷のテネシーで過ごすことで、娘の行動を正そうと計画する。

Who didn't watch Hannah Montana as a kid? The film is a much longer version, but I think it's also way better than the TV show since it has more time to develop characters. I think it's a really touching storyline, that is very predictable, but it still makes for an easy viewing. All in all, I would recommend if for nothing else than the famous Hodown-throwdown dance that everyone did many years ago.

To be honest it wasn’t anything too special other than the fact that it was Hannah Montana so it was fun to see as a teen! The songs were so catchy I even owned the movies soundtrack. The plot was your usual generic stuff but who doesn’t love a fun Disney movie!

Hannah Montana: The Movie is a classic Disney Channel movie. Although the acting nor storyline are anything particularly groundbreaking, it's still a childhood classic that's fun to enjoy.
