Even if the story is nothing original, the animation does help make this Dreamworks’ strongest.

This is a beautiful animated movie about the unlikely friendship between a teen viking and a dragon. Despite it being set in viking times, and it involving dragons, the basic storyline is a relatable tale about two outcasts helping one another to try and stop the two enemies fighting. The film is done really well, and is actually really funny. Hiccup, the main character, is also the chief's son so has a lot of pressure riding on him, and he feels like he's constantly disappointing him, until Toothless (the dragon) turns up and helps turn the situation around.
