Dreamworks Chicken Run was actually quite disappointing to me. The visuals reminded me so much of the iconic Wallace and Gromit, however, I was not met with the same humour. Maybe you would actually appreciate and laugh at these jokes if you were still a toddler.

This is a fabulous film that I think was made with the idea to tackle quite a few issues. Considering that the entire film was made by slowly moving pieces of clay, it's phenomenal that such a film was made. No computer graphics were used, yet they still manage to make the expressions on the chicken's faces look real. The main character, realises early on that she has to escape, and take all her friends with her, after she discovers that they will all be killed when they stop producing eggs. She is ingenious but has tried and failed many times with her different plans for escape. Then, a cockerel manages to fly in who is from the circus. He pretends to be able to help them to get attention from the chickens, but he does manage to help them in the end.
